Cover Review: Love Pains

Love Pains

I have been asked to critique the cover for Love Pains, and this is going to be somewhat short, because there is a lot I like about this cover. It’s very clear, it tells me it’s short stories about love gone wrong in a humorous way. The typeface fits the book and is super easy to read.

If I have a problem at all with this cover it’s that I find Mr. Heart Man (and I’m saying man because of the muscles) a little bit cartooney for my personal taste. And I hesitate to even say it, because he’s very well done and quite clever. He’s just not me. But then, this probably isn’t my type of novel either. He fits the cover and the genre very well.

Overall a really nice cover that should get a lot of sales for the book.
